Are you passionate about mobile devices and mobile video gaming? Are you a professional ‘Jack of all trades’ who loves tackling new challenges and mastering new technologies? Welcome to the Blizzard Entertainment team where our goal is to bring Blizzard Entertainment’s amazing worlds to mobile devices. We are currently looking for qualified software engineers.
Responsibilities
- Solve a variety of technical challenges for new mobile projects.
- Maintain existing mobile projects.
- Take a leadership role, and balance time between management and implementation.
- Work with design, production, and other engineers to make good products even better.
Requirements
- Expert programming skills in C / C++, Java and / or C#
- Previously shipped mobile titles on iOS, Android and / or Windows Phone 7
- Proven potential for technical leadership
- Can take ownership of, and set direction for new projects
- Enjoy solving challenging programming problems
- Proven ability to quickly learn new technologies
- Passion for video gaming, mobile and Blizzard Entertainment
Pluses
- Experience with Open GL ES or other 3D technologies
- Shipped mobile video game titles
- Server development experience
- Mobile web development experience
- Strong mobile design sensibilities
- Agile development experience

- Experience in a high-volume or critical production service environment
- Write server-side code for web-based applications, create robust high-volume production applications, and develop prototypes quickly
- Build our platforms, systems and networking infrastructure using your strong background in distributed systems, OS/kernel, network system design, and large scale storage systems
