hack] Cannot find PromiscuousModeX

PromiscuousModeX가 레지스트리 검색해서 없다.

시작-실행-devmgmt.msc 쳐서

내 네트워크 가가지고 정보-고급탭에서 보니...

promiscuous mode 지원이 안 되는 것 같다.

....


인터넷 찾다가 얻은 자료들로 얻은 결론인데... 2000년도에 서버 운영할 때는 리눅스 명령어 만으로 같은 허브에 꼳혀있는 컴퓨터 모두를 sniffing 했었는데...

흠.. 다시 해봐야 겠다.

That is not entirely true. Some cards will allow this on the Advanced tab of the driver configuration. It depends on the card. You may also be able to configure this in the registry. Again, it depends on the card. For many cards this can be set in the HKey_LocalMachine\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\NIC_CARD\Parameters (where NIC_CARD is your nic driver) -
Value Name: PromiscuousModeX
Data Type: REG_DWORD
Data: 1
Data 1 will enable the mode.
The best answer to this questions is to contact the vendor of the card for an accurate answer.
